Avalon Harmonics

Managed by a single maker - Thorinair, began in 2023 as a small Croatian Eurorack brand with a modest selection of modules. A notable early release was Nucleus, a unique Geiger counter–based trigger and gate source. All modules are available either as fully built units or as PCB sets for DIY enthusiasts to assemble themselves.

Over time, more modules were introduced, with some gaining significant popularity - such as the iVCA, a simple stereo VCA featuring convenient offset and attenuversion controls, allowing it to be used not only for standard applications but also for sidechaining and trance gates. Another well-received module was the CVMod8 V2, a versatile modulation controller capable of applying offset and attenuversion to any CV signal, as well as mixing them to create new modulation sources.

The most recent success has been the KickAid, a module designed specifically to add rumble to kick drums - a favorite among techno producers. Due to high demand, stock shortages occurred, leading Thorinair to produce CVMod8 V2s and KickAids on demand for a period until supply stabilized.

By the end of 2025, Avalon Harmonics officially relocated to Germany, with the goal of expanding operations and reaching customers more easily, particularly in Germany and the United States.
